About Us
Centrepoint Finance was established in Queensland in 1982.
Following several years of organic growth a strategic decision to grow the business Australia wide was made and Don Stevens Finance in Queensland (established 1966) was acquired in 1999, Dayfin Services Pty Ltd in Victoria (established 1989) was acquired in 2001 and a joint venture was established in Western Australia in 2003.
In 2005 the Centrepoint Finance Group merged with listed entity Alliance Finance Corporation Limited to become Centrepoint Alliance Limited.
In September 2006 Esdale Sinclair & Associates was acquired in a move to expand the operations into Central and Northern Queensland.
In December 2008 the shareholding in Centrepoint Finance Pty Ltd held by Centrepoint Alliance Limited was sold to a number of shareholders who are actively involved in the business.
